Leogang is located in the Salzburg region and is a perfect holiday destination for families in the mountains. There are so many leisure activities that you are guaranteed not to be bored.
For example, visit the Park of the Senses at the middle station of the Asitzbahn and ride the LeoKlang summer toboggan run, also on the Asitz in Leogang. Those who prefer a longer descent can go to Saalfelden to the summer toboggan run on the Biberg. Quad biking is offered by Glemmy’s Offroadpark in Viehhausen (approx. 12 miles), you can swim very well in the Sonnrain outdoor pool and a visit to the Barbara and Daniel tunnels is also a great experience.
In winter Leogang offers wonderful ski slopes and in the rest of the year it is known for its bike park – one of the first and largest in Europe. . If you have not tried this sport yet, you can take part in a mountain bike downhill course in the bike park – it is already offered for children.

K1326 Hotel & Gourmetwirtshaus Kirchenwirt since 1326
Beautiful hotel in the center of Leogang with individually designed rooms in a modern country house style. The award-winning gourmet restaurant serves Austrian cuisine and Salzburg specialties. The Schanteilift is just around the corner, the Krallerhof Lift approx. 1 mile and the Asitzbahn approx. 2 miles. The ski bus stop is approx. 0.1 miles away and pets are not allowed in the hotel.

Steinberghaus Apartments
Nice, modern two bedroom apartments for a total of 4 people. The Krallerhof lift is approx. 0.1 miles, the Steinbergbahn I is approx. 0.3 miles and the Asitzbahn is approx. 0.8 miles. Pets are not allowed.

Das_Rivus
Nice apartment house with sauna, steam bath and year-round heated outdoor pool. It has apartments for 4 to 7 people. A breakfast buffet is offered. Pets are allowed on request. The Rivus is located directly at the Asitzbahn and the mountain bike park.

Very nicely furnished apartment with three bedrooms for a total of 7 people. It offers a sauna, terrace and garden. It’s approx. o.4 miles to the Schanteilift, 1.6 miles to the Steinbergbahn I and 2.3 miles to the Asitzbahn. Pets are not allowed.

Ansitz Wirtsgut
Family apartments for 4 to 5 people, approx. 0.1 miles from the ski lift and approx. 2 miles from the Asitzbahn. The inn is right next to the Hotel Kirchenwirt, where breakfast can be booked. The maisonette apartments look particularly beautiful. Pets are allowed here on request.

Naturhotel Forsthofgut
The Forsthofgut, which was named the most beautiful wellness hotel in Europe by the travel magazine GEO SAISON in 2018, is located in Leogang, right next to the Asitzbahn and the bike park. It offers a 11.500 mi² garden with an organic bathing pond, a wellness area, various indoor and outdoor pools, as well as its own children’s farm and childcare.

Nice hotel with rooms and chalets in a modern alpine style. It offers a swimming pond, wellness area and sun terrace. The chalets have a kitchen, tiled stove, own sauna, infrared cabin and terrace. Childcare is offered. The hotel is approx. 5 minutes walk from the Asitzbahn and offers direct access to the ski area. Pets are allowed on request.

Hotel Der Löwe lebe frei
Modern alpine hotel with two spa areas, indoor pool and, in summer, a natural swimming pond. Childcare is offered for children between 3 and 10 years of age. The Schantei lift is just around the corner and there is a private ski shuttle to the ski area approx. 1 mile away. The hotel is wheelchair accessible and pets are allowed. The suite with sauna and the superior junior suite with balcony look very nice.

Nice hotel right next to the Asitzbahn and the bike park. It offers an outdoor pool and a spa. This is on the glazed 5th floor with a panoramic view. Pets are allowed in the hotel on request.

Auhäuslgut (Saalfelden!)
Beautiful holiday home in modern alpine style with 2 bedrooms for a total of 6 people. It has a great children’s room with 2 bunk beds. The chalet is in a very rural location, approx. 2 miles from Saalfelden at the ‘Steinernen Meer’. It has an infrared cabin and a garden with sun loungers and barbecue facilities. Pets are allowed here on request. It’s not in Leogang, but it’s nearby and it’s so beautiful that it had to be on this site!
